The folks at
Maverick are real innovators in the cooking thermometer field. New
innovations (as indicated by a string of patents), shouldn't be a
surprise. But the ET-75 isn't a common cooking thermometer with a nice
added feature or two, it's an ingenious solution to a difficult problem.
The Maverick
ET-75 Remote Wireless BBQ Rotisserie Thermometer
monitors the temperature of meat while it is turning on the
rotisserie. You no longer need to open the lid, stop the spit and
probe the meat to monitor the progress. Finally you can cook to perfection while attending to your guests. The Maverick
ET-75 will display progress, and will beep to notify you when your meat is done to
your pre-selected doneness level or temperature. Since the Maverick ET-75 is wireless, you don't
need to stay next to the grill, just clip the receiver to your belt, put
it in your shirt pocket, or stand it on the table up to 100 feet from
the grill. The receiver will display the temperature of the meat, the
target temperature, and
signal you when it is done. The ET-75 also has a count-up, count-down
timer that can operate concurrently while monitoring temperature.

Note:
The Maverick ET-75
can only be used with rotisserie's that have a full size spit
extending across the entire length of the oven.
The ET-75 transmitter mounts on the handle of the spit and turns along with it,
while transmitting to the receiver up to 100 feet away. A stainless steel
probe is inserted into the meat, with the wire passing through a special
collar that supports the spit while preventing the probe wire from
damage.

The Maverick ET-75 Remote Wireless
BBQ Rotisserie Thermometer consists of two separate units,
the receiver, and the transmitter.. The receiver is compact, about 4
1/4 x 2 3/8 x 1 inch. It is equipped with a removable belt
clip and fold out stand. On the receiver, the food and target temperatures are
displayed simultaneously in your choice of °F or °C in digits about
3/8 inch tall. Timer digits are about 1/4 inch.
The Maverick ET-75 can be
programmed for Fish, Beef, Pork or Poultry. Target temperature
may be set either by temperature, or by taste, according to
USDA wellness levels, RAW, RARE, MED RARE, MED, or WELL, for
the meat selected.

on the rotisserie from
up to 100 feet away.
- LCD panel on receiver shows
temperature of
food in °F or °C.
- Receiver beeps when internal meat temperature rises above your preset
temperature.
- Integral count-down or
count-up timer displays in hours and minutes, or minutes
and seconds.
- Receiver comes with a
snap-on bracket that allows for belt clip or table top
use.
- Transmitter mounts on the
spit handle.
- Two collars are included,
.475" inch and .615 inch inside diameter, to fit most
common spits.

Cautions:
-
Do not use the stainless steel probes and wires in microwave ovens.

Do not use the probe sensors and wires above 410°F (210°C) because doing so will deteriorate the wire.

Do not expose the
probe wire to open flame.

Do not expose either unit to direct heat or water.

Always wear a heat-resistant glove to touch the probes or wires during or after cooking.

Do not submerge the units in water. Clean them with a damp cloth instead.

Clean the food probe after each use, but do not submerge
it in water.

Please verify that
the transmitter probe collar fits your spit before discarding the
packaging. Returns are only accepted within 30 days if
returned packaged as new.
